Everyone is so friendly here! It's a great atmosphere.

The campus is strict when it needs to be. There are policies and procedures in place that should be followed. I believe these are in place to positively affect the lives of the students both socially and academically.

There isn't a lot of drinking and drug use that I know of at this school. Of course it's going to happen but I think compared to other universities the average student doesn't take much part in that scene.

There are plenty of different options available when it comes to dining. Prices are affordable and the best places to eat are the local businesses only found in Logan!

If you are a city person, the Logan life may not be for you, but if you are someone that likes to be outdoors or involved in school functions then you will have an absolute blast going to school at Utah State University! The small town vibe and local cafes are unique and add so much enjoyment to the college experience.

The nightlife at the school is so much fun and there is always something going on on the weekends, but there aren't a lot of bars and clubs to choose from in the city.

Academics are awesome!! The professors and both general and specific major courses are interesting and fun. The registration process is fairly smooth and it is usually easy to get in the classes needed. Popular studies are in the medical field and there are tons of opportunities for study groups to get students learning and growing with one another.

I am a Nutrition and Dietetics major and I couldn't have picked a better major to get involved in. The school has it's own farm for the students to get involved in and learn more about growing organically. The workload is well worth it and the curriculum is interesting and fun. There are a lot of opportunities for service hours and internships as well.

Honestly, Utah State University is an amazing school. You really can tell that the schools main focus is the success and involvement of the students. The school being in such a small town really gives the school support from the entire community and gets everyone (student or non-student) apart of the colleges experience. There is always something to do and amazing staff always there to make college go smoothly. I love my school!!

There are quite a few different buildings that provide computers for students to do work and print off assignments. Printing is fairly cheap and can be free depending on classes students are enrolled in. The speed of the network and wireless access is easily accessed and aids in student work.

Logan being a small town that it is provides many housing opportunities both near and more outside of campus. The cost is very affordable and convenience is fantastic. The only issue would be parking for non-residents/friends of residents. Most complexes have permits for their parking lot making it difficult to have friends visit. There are opportunity boards posted on campus to help students find the right place for them to live.

I love the fact the the school doesn't make a huge deal about Greek life. Yes it is a fun opportunity and yes they do a lot within the school helping other students get involved and have a good time as well. Being a non-Greek student the Greek life isn't something that interests me but the view of the Greeks are nothing different than any other student.

No matter where you live there is some kind of transportation available for you to get to campus, whether it be school shuttles or city buses. A plus is that it is all free!

Athletics are a huge part of Utah State University! Both club sports like hockey, rugby and dance company and varsity sports like football, basketball and volleyball are what makes the college life experience so much fun. The school spirit and support from the entire town are amazing. The athletic facilities have just been remodeled and are wonderful places for training.

Guys & Girls:
There are plenty of beautiful girls of all types to choose from to date. I have mostly just dated girls from my group of friends but I wouldn't find it hard to branch out and date other girls not in my social circle
College Sophomore 2013-11-18T21:30:14Z
Financial aid can be a pain but the school is very good at getting the most in grants and loans that the students deserves and needs.
College Sophomore 2013-11-18T21:28:33Z
Parking on campus can be expensive depending on what permit you want. The most convenient permits are the most expensive and spots fill up extremely fast but most parking on campus in other Universities are about the same.
College Freshman 2013-11-18T21:28:23Z
I have never discussed polotics with anyone on campus
College Freshman 2013-11-18T21:25:50Z
I have my own laptop so I haven't needed to use the computer labs on campus.
College Freshman 2013-11-18T20:47:49Z
I live right off campus so I can just walk to school. I never have problems with finding parking. My landlord always takes care of the house. There are a lot of options that are easy to find for other off-campus living as well
College Freshman 2013-11-18T20:42:35Z
Prices are average, but there aren't any disounts for being a student. Logan is a small city so there are plenty of restaurants to visit.
College Freshman 2013-11-18T20:40:22Z
There are a lot of places on campus to eat, I just never go to them
College Freshman 2013-11-18T20:39:12Z
Logan is a small college town, it can be a lot of fun if you are creative but there isn't much to do otherwise. Sports events are always a blast to go to and the city is supportive of USU
College Freshman 2013-11-18T20:36:24Z
Permits are very expensive and one nevert knows if there will be spots available close to campus. Ticketing is ver strict.
College Freshman 2013-11-18T20:34:36Z
I do not participate in drugs/alcohol but I have seen them at USU hosted parties and events
Sorry, there are no reviews.
