I had Georgia which is the best hall. It had everything I needed. All other dorms seemed livable from what I have heard.

Campus housing is a bust. It is not like you see in bigger universities where everyone gets along and has floor parties and get togethers. Housing here is strict and the staff is usually rude. The housing department head is extremely rude and presses charges to your account just from filing a complaint. If you have a roommate issue, forget getting out of it. you will be stuck unless someone moves out of another room. Oh, and you'll get charged for that too.

Living on campus is cool. We have different places where you can eat and hang out with friends. The dorms are decent, you have your good dorms and then you have your bad dorms. The worst part about some the rooms would have to be the public restrooms, they are gross! The best perk about the residence hall would have to be the events they have. My favorite part of the campus would have to be the front lawn area, it's beautiful and relaxing and just a great area to go to with friends. The cost for Valdosta is great compared to other schools, some of the books are pricey and we have unnecessary fees but I think that we go for any college. The housing process is easy when you're a freshman, it gets harder as you move up and request better housing.

Living on campus is very convenient. Some dorms are better than others but there aren't any major complaints. The best traditional dorm on campus would have to be Patterson Hall.

If you can deal with living with a bunch of hoodlum college kids, you'll do fine. As long as your housing registration is sent in early, you'll have no problem getting a room with someone you want.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
