Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Finding drugs on campus is a difficult task. The portion of the campus population that participates in drug use is minimal. Just about every student knows more people in his/her high school class who did drugs than people around campus who do drugs. The most used drug, not including alcohol, would be marijuana, but it is used by a limited amount of students so it is not noticeable.

At Valpo, there are the people who have tried this or done that, but if you have to choose a “drug” that gets the most use on campus, it would be alcohol. However, if you don't drink there is no pressure to do so. Even at the bigger fraternity parties, no one forces anyone to drink. It is really easy for drinkers and non-drinkers to coexist with each other, which makes the atmosphere on campus really positive.
