Finding drugs on campus is a difficult task. The portion of the campus population that participates in drug use is minimal. Just about every student knows more people in his/her high school class who did drugs than people around campus who do drugs. At Valpo, there are the people who have tried this or done that, but if you have to choose a “drug” that gets the most use on campus, it would be alcohol. A very minimal use of “harder” drugs exists on campus. A couple of years ago when ecstasy was gaining prominence in news media across the country, it was found on campus, but since then, there hasn’t been any mention of it returning to campus. If you stop by a party or step off campus, drugs are easier to find, but no more than at any college or town across the county.

Drinking Accepted, Drugs Must Be Hidden
A-
Drinking is pretty widely accepted even though it is a dry campus. It is visible and anyone can access it. Drugs are very much frowned upon as a whole and is very subtle when it takes place

Drugs easy enough to obtain
B
There is a fair amount of drug use but you won't see it unless you're going out to look for the drugs or alcohol. If you're looking, they're easy enough to obtain. Valpo is uptight, so it's easy to get caught. Most people drink more than anything.

Not a Problem
D-
I think it is totally up to the student about how involved they want to get in regards to the drug and drinking scene. It is there if you want to find it otherwise you won't find it. Education does come first for most students.

It Is Here
B+
I would say that drugs other then alcohol are hard to come by. A student would have to actively seek them out. alcohol is available and much easier to come by.

Dry Campus?
B
I know drinking goes on a lot even though we are a dry campus. However, I feel as though it's mainly not visible; you really only have to get involved if you want.
