Bin Willy's
Bin Willy's serves food, as well as being a local student bar. They host a DJ, as well as live bands on the weekends, and offer great specials.

Duffy's Place
Duffy's is not the first choice for students on a regular basis, but it has a large beer garden area open in the spring that is often used for Senior Week activities or welcome-back bashes.

Northside Tap Bar & Grill
Northside is often referred to as the `townie bar,' meaning that most of its patrons tend to be locals, but many VU students head to Northside because it has great prices. You must be 21 to get in, and the carding policy is pretty strict. Northside also has live music from time to time, and they do serve good bar food and appetizers. There is no cover and parking is free.
Pastimes
Probably the best bar food for miles! Pastimes is more like your average Irish pub than a bar. This is the choice for students who want to go out and drink with friends but also have some quality food and conversation. It's quieter and more sophisticated than the other places.
