College Prowler Take
Unless you’re a genius, it’d be downright impossible to succeed at a school like Vanderbilt while supporting a drug habit. But then again, if you were a genius, you probably wouldn’t be doing drugs in the first place.
There is a small drug scene on campus, so if you really need to find drugs, I’m sure you wouldn’t have too much difficulty. The poison of choice on Vanderbilt’s campus, however, is alcohol. Like any university, there are problems with binge drinking, but if you’re smart enough to get into Vanderbilt, then you’re smart enough to make your own decisions.

The drug scene is as much as you make of it. If you don’t want to be a part of it, then it’s easy to avoid. If you want to partake in it, it’s pretty easy to find. |

I would rather kids do drugs in their room than sit outside my dorm and smoke as many cigarettes as they do. I hate smokers! |

There are a lot of drugs on campus, but that’s the same everywhere. I have been around a lot of drugs, and it’s very easy to make the decision about whether or not to partake. I, personally, never felt pressured. It’s easy to find drugs and easy to stay away from them at the same time. |

I’ve heard about drugs being present around campus, but aside from the occasional marijuana references that you hear people make from time to time, I haven’t seen much of a drug scene. |
