College Prowler Take

Vanderbilt takes great pride in both its aesthetics and
functionality. With the endowment and tuition prices as high as they are, the school has little trouble continually improving its facilities and does an excellent job in discerning both what is necessary and what is the most effective solution.

With regards to facilities, students are continually amazed by the school’s ability in allowing the history of the university, and the classic feel that comes along with it, to co-exist with the need for the modern and high tech. There is something very special about stepping out of the garden environment of the campus into a perfectly maintained, seemingly antebellum, building and being able to access a high-speed, wireless network on your laptop.

I love all the facilities except the laundry rooms. They’re always crowded, the machines are broken, and it costs two bucks a load. But I guess that’s the price you pay for four channels of HBO.
