Villanova= a LEARNING EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER :Every Professor at Villanova Genuinely Cares About Their Students
Academics at Villanova are excellent. Although, the course work is often very challenging students realize it will pay off in the end. In addition, all classes are taught by full time faculty members and Professors, many of which hold the highest possible degree in their field of study. In my freshman year alone 4/5 of my teachers held a PhD in their area of study. Also, TA's DO NOT TEACH CLASSES AT VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY!!!!
One of the main reasons why I chose to come to Villanova was because the positive academic environment it boasted. Not only was the work extremely challenging, but the Professors genuinely care about their students. Every single teacher that I have had thus far, as provided every student with numerous ways to contact them should we need to reach them outside of the classroom or their office hours which are held bi-weekly.If you can't make an office hour DON'T WORRY all professors are extremely accomadating and want you to succeed!
For example, I was having trouble studying during Finals, I emailed my teacher, and she offered to come in on her own time over the weekend to work with me. In addition, it's pretty much common place for professors to come on Campus after hours and hold study sessions, or reviews, resolving any last minute questions or concerns the night before a test.
