Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition is very expensive here at Virginia college. I think the financial aid department need to offer us more ways to find scholarships because you definitely need a scholarship along with financial aid to come here to virginia college.

Virginia College has many resources and they already achieved a good placing record for the students that attended the college in the pass. As a new student and already having the career center show a promising reward for the students that attended the campus is encouraging. They students talked of how great the internship progam was.
I feel good when I walk into the campus and see how importance our appearance is to the school. They have a no tolerance approach about following dress appearance. Business student most dress in business attire. The rest of the courses require scrubs and any one dressing out of order will be sent home. These two things seem to be of benefit when looking into the job market. They both support professionalism.
Our alumni network is great, as a new student I have already experience prior students coming to class and encourging the future students on how well the instructors are. The replacement rate at our school was the highest in our hometown. The career center staff has already educated us on how important resumes and career profiles are in the job market. The career profile was new to me, only because I was aware of a business profile but job, wow. I am already amaze at the little time I spent at the college, yet I gain important insight about how my college career center is going to help me. We have access to the career center's copy machine, scanner and fax when necessary. The counselors there has already assigned each student depending upon what degree or certificate you are trying to achieve.
In conclusion, Virginia College is a great asset to anyone that is looking towards investing in the future they want to have. I have every confidence that my internship and future outlook will be as inspiring as the next student.

Virginia College Has a Lot of Resourses That Are Vital as a Student. Virginia College is like an hour glass to me but the sand never runs out. Upon my orientation we all meet the President and Dean of the school along with our instructors in all departments. We learned of all the campus resources at Virginia College. They have career services, student services, each helps most of the students by helping them achieve goals in finding a career while going to school, some need help with assitance with daycare, academic learning assistance and support. Time is always provided for each students concerns, they have assistance with living and housing issues, and referrals to programs and organizations for assistance, they are also helpful with educating students on managing finances. They also provide help with coordinating students activities and organizations. A well known student activity is the "Student Ambassodors," they are the ideal students of the campus and they average a 4.0 grade. I have a personal interest in joining the "Student Ambassadors," and I will. This team on individuals responsibilities extend beyond assisting with collegiate affairs. They also serve the community around them. The campus library is great, all tools that a college student would need is available. Let me go a little further to introduce what other good features Virginia College has.
Most of the students are also eager to join the General Ed & Business:FBLA organization they often volunteer in community events. Most people don't realize how important all these activities are when one need to grow as a college student into a productive individual in society. One of the best resources that Virginia college also provides is giving each student a mentor and your mentor is a campus instructor or persons of higher position. My mentor is head of admissions. I am eager to learn and share my campus experience with my mentor.
The final service that I like that the school provide is an open door policy to the president's and dean's office. Now, that one right there is extraordinary,to be able to go and talk to these persons without feeling that you are in the way is one for the records. I am also greatful for the student lounge and outdoor lounge area. Cosmetology department has also provided the students that attend the college discounts whenever they need it. It's always a plus when you can accomplish your daily goal and have all your needs service in your own enviroment.
In conclusion, Virginia College is a good college to attend. I will support my school as they support my endeavors to grow. The resources has helped me and will continue to help me as I seek the necessary government body though out my student career to help me on my personal growth in to the real world.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Virginia College a+ – I remembered my first day as I entered Virginia College the staff was very attentive. My recruiter displayed a warm welcome attitude which eased my nervousness. As she proceeded to give me positive insight on the degrees and certificates they offered at Virginia College she also noted how fanancial aid who help me with the financial matters. This new venture was very important and I was concerned about how I would pay for this new personal adventure I wanted to seek. First, I had 55 credits for a pervious college and I wanted to assure that no obstacles would arise. Secondly, I didn't have personal transportation and no extented carefare to attend school.
As she introduced me to my financial advisor she stood around until all questions and concerns on her part was answered. My financal advisor excorted me to her personal office where I began to develop a sense of nervousness once again. She quickly picked on how I was feeling and said to me that "most people get nervous" and with that statement I felt better. I told her of my concerns with my previous credits being accepted. She assured me that I had enough financial aid and help with getting student loans if necessary. She also introduced how scholarships are very helpful and many students had applied while in school. I thought of the investment of my future, quickly and ask her to give me all the help I need with financial aid.
She went on and provided resources about scholarships, loans and grants. I didn't have a job and was concerned about my transportaion, she assured me that my financial aid package will help with that concern along with the other financial help I would be getting. She also brought to my attention that the college purchases transportation bus passes for those students that need help and don't have personal transportation however there is only a limited amount. All this information that she provided really inspired me.
In conclusion, I am proud to say "I am a Virginia College student and I have a bus pass." Even though I took a loan to invest in my future career, I also applied for scholarships that fit me. The best time was when I was accepted to the college, and now I intent to do everything I can to stay.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
It's Not 4 Everyone – The price is far too high and the quality of education that you get for the price leaves much to be desired. I do not feel that it was worth me spending over 30, 000 in two and 1/2 years and really having nothing to show for it but all these loans that I cannot repay. They really need to work on providing a better product overall for the money.

Job Placement – Mr. Beringer is our career service coordinator. He is very knowledgable and often holds work shops to prepare students for job placement. We have only had two students complete the program thus far, so I am not sure if he will be sucessfull in helping the 30 plus students that will be graduating the next 2 terms.

Very Hard, but Worthwhile – I am a therapeutic massage major, and we have to learn a lot about the body. We are often quizzed daily on locations of muscles, actions, origins, and insertions. We are also required to spend time at home studying for the national massage exam. We also learn different modalities such as deep tissue, sports massage, shiatsu, and I currently studying trigger point therapy. Our PD has just added psychology of the body, which teaches us how to respond to clients on an emotional level. This class is very intense. I was not aware that massage is an emotional treatment as well as a manual treatment.
