Tuition & Financial Aid:
I was not notified before hand that I was not provided enough money for the three classes I took when I began the first quarter. So this is another financial setback. But other than I have not had any problems with the financial aid process.

I am in school to become a pharmacy technician. I recently started this career so I have not really began any hands on activities. I am still learning the basic leading up to those hands on experiences and later moving on to my internship.

The academics offered at this school are great. The size of the classes are not to large so that means more one-on-one interactions with the professors. The amount of work given is manageable. Many of the students work and have families so there is no need to be weighed down with tons of homework outside of school. The professors are great and all have positive attitudes about teaching.

I'm completely comfortable with taking online classes. That is until the computers malfunction or if there is a power outage and all my work is lost.

There aren't any post grad opporyunities with Virginia College, but many schools will allow you to use the classes and accept them compared to their studies. That's a good thing.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The cost is not the issue. The cost is great honestly. For (estimated) about $13,000 I can get a certificate in Pharmacy as a Technician and have little to no debt. Compare that to traditional schools and that's not too close.

I was actually hesitant about taking online courses, but once I started doing my assigned assignments it was pretty easy. I was easier for me because I didn't have to drive 15 - 20 minutes to school. I could just sit at home, in my own spare time and just finish my work.
College Senior 2013-01-15T20:27:53Z
Most of the students at my school already have kids or families.
