Interviews & Information Sessions

For students and families interested in meeting with
departmental faculty or needing to arrange a visit to campus outside of regular hours (weekdays only), appointments are strongly recommended. Group tours for 10 or more people can be scheduled on weekdays, and appointments are required. To request a group tour, call at least two weeks inadvance in order to allow sufficient time for arrangements tobe made. For more information, call (800) 841-3638(toll-free).

Campus Tours

Informational sessions are held in the Welcome Center at 1111 W. Broad St. Monday through Saturday at 10:30 a.m., except on holidays and holiday weekends. Each session is coupled with an hour-long guided walking tour of the Monroe Park Campus. After the tour is completed, an admissions counselor is available to meet with prospective students and their families. Reservations are not required for attendance at these sessions. Self-guided tour maps are available for visitors who are unable to attend the daily session, and admissions staff are available in the center from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays to speak with students and their families

Overnight Visits

Once a student chooses to attend VCU, they can come for an overnight visit in the dorms during their student orientation.

College Prowler guides are in the hands of students throughout the entire process. Because you can't make student-written guides without the students, we have students at each campus who write, edit, and survey their peers for every guide that we publish.
