There is quite a few options as to times and days for classes, however they fill up very quickly.

Haven't had to deal with this yet.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Everyone was very helpful with the payment and financial aid part of going to school, wish there was someone to help guide students with scholarships.

Brand new science building is state of the art, very nice.

The campus is decent. Many of the classrooms are smaller in size, giving teachers the ability to better interact with students around the campus. However, many of the classrooms lack technology that many other institutes have. For instance, a few teachers still rely on old projector units rather than smart boards, which even my elementary school had. The campus is well designed and very close so little commute is needed to get from one class to the next.

The online classes at my school are very similar to the classroom. Unlike many programs, you develop the same knowledge in a you would in a regular classroom. The workload in most programs is nothing too extreme but since there are no lectures most assignments require a good amount of research and study.

I'm a pre-nursing major, and all my classes are base on what the schools are looking for to complate this degree.
College Freshman 2013-10-13T01:23:38Z
I am a nursing major and VSCC helps me look into different nursing programs to advance my career. The school gets you well prepared to transfer to different school making sure you have the classes and credits you need before you leave.
College Freshman 2013-10-13T01:18:00Z
I chose VSCC, because I had attended a colleger before and my credits did not transfer. They help tremendously helped me with signing up for classes that way I could still spend time with my child. THe teachers are also very understanding.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education tuition is so much better at vol state then most schools. And it is nice to be able to afford school.

I have had some really amazing professors that I really enjoyed. I have to transfer to a four year college. But because of some of the professors, I do not want to leave.

I think the website was very easy to deal with. And it was not confusing to make my way around it.

I am just trying to get a general degree. I have experienced a lot of classes at vol state, that were well taught. And I like being in a class where the teacher is actually experienced in the field they are teaching.
College Sophomore 2013-08-25T13:40:09Z
Vol State is a great school! The staff is very helpful and willing to go above and beyond to help you with your needs. The courses have been challenging at times, but very good. I do mostly online classes but have also taken a class or two on campus, as well as a hybrid class. My experience has been great so far the only downside is that I must move on to complete my 4-year degree. I would highly recommend this school to anyone, especially non-traditional students looking for a school that will work around work schedules and life!

Volunteer State Community College gets an A+ in my grade book because it is a very great school. Scheduling classes is very easy as is working with the advisors. There are so many hands on classes at Vol State as well. I highly recommend this college for anyone!

I enjoy my degree as well as the teachers and classes. It takes alot of studying but its rewarding.
College Junior 2013-08-05T20:11:07Z
They offer a variety of programs to study for just about anything. Mostly students can obtain an Associates degree and may transfer to further their degree if they wish.
College Junior 2013-08-05T20:09:00Z
There is a great amount of resources for students to take advantage of whether its for school projects, the gym, the library, and etc.
College Junior 2013-08-05T20:06:25Z
The labs are always open and available for the use of students if needed, both day and night.
College Junior 2013-08-05T20:05:12Z
Its a pretty decent size school to be a community college and they offer both day and night classes to work around students schedules who work. The teachers are very helpful as well.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
