All the dorms for Freshman are doubles in Harborview Hall.

There are singles in Harborview, but they are usually reserved for residential assistants (the RAs) and students with medical disabilities. Students enjoy sharing a room, though, you can switch, and if possible, get a single if you don't get along with your roommate.

All freshmen are required to live in Harborview Hall—it's a great place to make friends your first year, and most floormates become very close with one another. Harborview has a view of Manhattan, and all the rooms are doubles. There are no lights in HVH, so make sure you bring a lamp with you, or your first night will be pretty dark. The bathrooms are communal, which can sometimes be a little gross, but housekeeping cleans them every morning. Across the street from Harborview is Guild Hall, the honors dorm. The rooms here are the largest on campus, and the bathrooms are shared between neighboring rooms. The only real downside to Guild is that you can't control the heat in your room, so it's up to the College to turn it on when they think it's cold enough outside. There's no air-conditioning, but if you have a fan in your room, you'll be fine. Beisler Lounge on the first floor has a piano and a kitchen.

Towers Hall consists of five linked towers, A,B,C,D,and E. The rooms are pretty small, and the dorm is difficult to navigate—you have to go to the third floor of the building to get out, and the only door is in C tower. Most of the sports teams live here, as well as members of each sorority and fraternity. Foundation Hall opened in 2010, and the rooms are more like apartments. Each double has a kitchen area, and there's a Starbucks on the first floor. Mostly seniors live here, as well as some juniors. It's the closest dorm to the academic buildings but the farthest from the dining hall. However, because the campus is small, all the dorms are pretty close to everything, and you never need to walk more than 10 minutes to any place. The dorms are cleaned by housekeeping every day, so they are always tidy. Everyone is very friendly, and the RAs maintain a good rapport with the students. It feels like home, and it's not difficult to adjust to a new environment because everything is so comfortable here.
