Wagner's facilities are pretty good on the whole, but there are some areas where renovations could be made. The College just built Foundation Hall, a new, apartment-style dorm, for seniors and select juniors, and Harborview could use a few renovations but nothing major. The other dorms are well maintained, and all the dorms are cleaned every day during the week. The outside of Main Hall is getting a facelift, and the other academic buildings, including the library, are well maintained. The school does renovations and updates whenever necessary and the funds are present, and a recent project was the redecorating of the dining hall. The upstairs of the Student Union is kept up, and the library is usually adequate for whatever you might need; however, it occasionally doesn’t have the article or the book you need. But, even if that's the case, it's not something to worry about—the New York Public Library in Manhattan will have whatever you can't find in the Wagner library, or you can order material from St. John's, which is just up the street.
The Co-Curricular Programs office shows a movie about once a week, and it's usually one that hasn't been released to DVD yet. In addition, each RA on campus hosts floor programs about once a month, and anyone can attend. Sometimes these include movies, but other programs include cooking, decorating for holidays, or going into the city. There's a kitchen in Guild Hall, so some students like to cook for their friends for a change of pace. There are a lot of resources available for students on campus, and the facilities are what you make of them. Explore campus a little—look for something to do and see what there is to make your college experience even better.
