Wagner's campus is very safe. The College security staff is very friendly and helpful, especially if someone is injured, and they are extremely vigilant and spots problems right away. There are also emergency call buttons around campus and in the parking lot in case there's an incident. Students say they feel safe walking on campus at night, and the buildings are close enough together that you won't need to walk for long anyway. There are very few incidents on campus, although there have been times when people who shouldn’t have been there have gotten into the dorms; however, Public Safety always acts quickly, and the students aren't in danger.

The Health Services Office is open until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and until 7 p.m. on Fridays. The nurses are very knowledgeable, and they're very good at making students feel better when they're sick away from home. For a lot of students, this may be the first time they have to take care of themselves when they’re sick, and the nurses will make you feel like you're at home. They'll order any prescriptions you need from the pharmacy and call you once the medicine is delivered. They'll also call you a few days after your visit to make sure that you're feeling better and that everything's okay. There are also psychologists available who provide free counseling for anyone who would like to talk to one.
