Wake's Very Own Barn

Wake Forest understands that college students party regardless of the punishments or risks associated with alcohol or drugs. Recently, Wake built a large building on campus nicknamed "The Barn". Essentially, it is a club with a DJ booth, stage, dancing floor, multiple beer pong tables, a VIP loft area, and its location eliminates the need to drive.

Fairly Strict

The Wake campus can be pretty strict: parking tickets are frequent as are underage drinking tickets. The RAs themselves are not strict, but campus police is. If you get into legal trouble, get caught with a Fake ID, or break school policy, the administration can be extremely unforgiving.

Campus Parties Vs Campus Crackdowns

Wake Forest is a unique school in that is actually throws parties for students. On designated "Seize the Quad" nights, the campus police and sober students monitor partying on the quad, but do not step in unless someone is in danger. It gives greeks and non greeks and opportunity to mingle and have fun together as a united student body. Off-campus partying however, is an entirely different story. Multiple fraternity houses are busted almost every weekend resulting in many students with underage drinking tickets. It is safer, and much more fun, to keep the partying on campus in Fraternity lounges rather than in fraternity houses.
