I agree with you completely! Our Class of 2016 has a diversity rate of 23% - it's climbing steadily, but change is coming. As a hispanic myself, I have not had trouble fitting in though. I've found it easy to communicate with many people and feel like I fit in just fine.
I completely agree! :) As a Mexican-American, I could not have been happier choosing Wake. I found it a culture shock as well my first semester here, but I got so involved in the clubs and programs it was easy making friends!
So basically if I am a kind of quirky art student who is tired of living in a white suburban bubble, this might not be a good fit? This was my top school, but now I'm afraid that I may be walking into a replication of my high school...
