College Prowler Take
As far as it seems, there aren’t enough drugs on campus to even consider it part of a “scene.” You could argue that most students aren’t even aware of a drug presence on campus. You’ll occasionally hear of a few rumors of parties involving a bit of cocaine, but no one ever seems to have been to one, so prevalence of that type of activity is doubtful. There is still, mind you, a decent amount of students that will smoke, but their impact on the campus is negligible. Harder drugs are practically unheard of at Wake. Odds are, you won’t ever see them used, nor will you know anyone who uses them. Non-users feel very little pressure to indulge in drugs.

Drugs are really nonexistent, other than the occasional weed smoker. Alcohol is the norm, and most don’t stray too far away from that. |

A lot of people drink, considering that there are a lot of Greek organizations. Illegal drugs aren’t that big, though they’re here. |

I never really see many drugs at Wake, but I know they are here, and I know people are doing them. So, if you want them, I’m sure you could find them. But if you’re not interested, you won’t be approached. |

I have seen it and smelled it, but the kids I’ve seen doing it don’t last long. It’s not overly present, but it’s there. And the retributions are mighty painful. Wake is not forgiving in this regard. |

I don’t know. I would venture to say it’s fairly drug free, but I’m pretty naïve when it comes to drugs. |
