College Prowler Take
As many students would attest, Wake Forest could easily be featured in a J.Crew catalog. Many boast that the students are gorgeous and in shape, but some admit this can be intimidating, so it creates competition. If fitness is an indication of the overall attractiveness of a school, Wake is in seriously good shape. The gym is packed with both guys and girls at any time of day, and physical appearance seems to be at a premium. Almost everyone is trendy and preppy, although there are certainly varying levels. Not all students live and die with the new Abercrombie catalog. If you’re looking for an attractive student body across the board, this is the place to be. Wake is generally regarded as having one the best-looking collective student bodies in the southeast. However, if you’re looking for considerable variety beyond the typical upper-class white look and the occasional middle-class frat look, you may be disappointed. The alternative scene is dismal, at best.

The guys are great. I have never seen a guy on campus that will not wait five minutes for you to get to a door so they can hold it for you. And of course, they are good- looking! |

Generally, guys and girls on campus are very wealthy and pretty trendy. A lot of people dress up to go to class, instead of wearing pajamas. A lot of the guys are hot. Some of the fraternities act ‘too cool’ sometimes, and it’s annoying. The dating scene is not so fabulous—people hook up a lot but don’t date so much. I think that there are a lot of really pretty, skinny girls at Wake, more than ordinary. But that’s the kind of people Wake attracts: good-looking, white, upper-class conservatives. I don’t always fit the profile, but it’s not a problem. |

All I can say about the guys is...
All I can say about the guys is there are a lot of scrawny nerds, but there also some pretty cool guys. The same goes for the girls. It is obvious some have never stepped foot out of their sheltered world, while some are extremely snobby. Wake is one of those places where you can walk around and know almost everybody. |

Wake Forest has some of the prettiest people I have ever seen—both guys and girls. It’s really hard to find an ugly person. People at Wake work out a lot, too. All my friends from other colleges always comment on how odd it is when they visit—they notice. |

Yes - Student Health offers several forms of birth control including pills and shots. They also have an unlimited supply of free condoms.
Social Scene
Social interaction on campus lives and dies with the Greek system. Like it or not, the majority of students will hit the frats before even considering the bars or clubs. Fortunately for everyone, the parties are open, so there will be plenty of independents along with the fraternity guys and sorority girls.
Hookups or Relationships?
There’s a myth that some Wake students were caught dating a few years back, but for all we know, it hasn’t happened since. At Wake Forest, hookups are king. However, you will find that upperclassmen do eventually develop a few relationships, and if you’re looking for a relationship, you’ll be able to find one.
Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls
At the risk of being redundant, the best places to meet guys and girls are frats, frats, frats, and frats. While there are other colleges around, they generally come to Wake to party. Most students don't really bother hitting the bars to find non-WFU people. Of course, plenty of people will meet in various social groups and clubs, as well as in class.
Dress Code
Don't be surprised if many of your classmates dress up to go to class, and expect more than a few people to show up to football games in shirts and ties or sun dresses. Wake Forest could single-handedly keep Abercrombie & Fitch in business.
