Advice on Finding a Job/Internship The best thing to do is start from Day One. Make sure that you meet with career services at some point during your freshman year. Think about what excites you, and see what sorts of opportunities exist. Shadowing, volunteering, and internships can all be very valuable experiences for finding your passion. The best advice is to start early and be persistent. Career services sponsors various speakers and development seminars that will allow you to both learn and network. The Wake Forest Alumni Directory is also a valuable resource for connecting with alumni and conducting informational interviews about different jobs.
