The kids at my school are really great, I sometimes question why their studying and attendance problems, but overall, they are really friendly and helpful. There is a good distribution of conservative and liberal people. Although there are more conservative students in the area, there are more liberal programs out there for those interested.

Great school. I did try a professional technical program first and wasn't thrilled because I had the same teacher for most of my classes. If you are getting your AA or AS, you will have a wide variety of teachers that are awesome!

I haven't taken an online class here yet, but from I've heard, they have went over well.

My only problem has been trying to make sure all my credits from other schools transfer to this one. They don't make it easy and they don't exactly advertise that you need to fill out a form for them to evaluate the credits you've transferred there from another school.

I wish there were a few more class times options from 11:30 to 1:30, but it works out fine. All classes start on the half hour, so it's easy to figure out when classes should start and end, unlike some schools where you never can remember when classes start.

Computers and printing is easy to use. Although there could be more computer labs and space to spread out, it's functional and the labs allow you to get what you need done.

It's a great school and the teachers CARE! Something you want to have especially if you are coming from a small high school. I don't recommend kids from a small high school to go to a university their first two years of school because 1.) Universities are expensive and 2.) If you are used to one on one help from your high school teachers, a university will not be a very friendly environment when it comes to professors. There are lots of great classes to take at WWCC. Although the school lacks a few updates, it is a friendly atmosphere and you get to know a lot of other students because of close-knit classes.

The diversity of the student body exceeds expectations. Nobody is judged based on appearances or language here. People are very approachable and friendly. So many of the students interact with others, its almost impossible to find little cliques and popularity groups. Everybody has an equal chance to become a part of the Student Body.

I've not yet tried going to career ethics and those types of things. I've heard from other students and friends that this school does provide really accessible information and activities.

my favorite experiences include being in the class of psychology and joining extra curricular activities such as performing arts. I have always enjoyed the students because most of them are very friendly and help each other out when needed. My psychology teacher was very welcoming and reached out to students and understood when they were having difficulties. My music teacher gave me variety choices of study programs and helped me advance in my area. My school really touches base with the students' need to have fun. They provide so many choices of fun activities that is very hard to resist the chance to get involved in the activities. I would choose this school over and over again to attend. I love the connections and the hardworking people. I really enjoy seeing people advance to their next steps full of knowledge and ambition. This staff really gives all out phenomenal support to each and every individual student.

It was very hard for me to learn with an online class. The teachers were always available when needed and could be contacted through email. Sometimes live chat was given between the teachers and students. But I didn't feel that the students were as important to the teachers as they would be when taught in person. I felt detached and unimportant. I couldn't tell if the teacher knew that I was struggling with the connections and having trouble opening and working with the programs I needed in order to do homework. This may be my own fault but I really did not feel like it was something I could keep doing to get through college.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Financial aid offices are available and found in a nice approachable area. Unfortunately, I have found it hard to sometimes get the information I need from the financial aid staff. I feel that sometimes they are not friendly and encounter too many students. I like that you can search for your financial aid through the computer and paperwork is offered outside the offices. I feel as though it is my own fault if I am late on returning paperwork because I do not read the directions thoroughly. I really wish someone would guide a student through the many processes instead of just showing the first parts of a program, then expecting the student to know the rest. Me believing I could count on them to help was very misleading and have caused me problems with getting the proper financial aid I've needed.

The school library offers the best place for school computers. However, there are also study rooms with a wide range of computers and tutors. Printing is limited to the amount a students owes on an account. Copy machines are offered but are not free. Wireless connections are available to a student throughout the buildings. Walla Walla Community College gives the fastest internet services to any student and staff member. I feel that I can rely on the network on any day, through all types of seasons.

I really enjoy a nice walk around the campus. Campus sightings range from a dome gym center to an amazing performing arts building. The dome offers many classes and different programs on the inside for students physical performances. A china pavilion helps students feel like they are really performing in a magnificent place. The library has many books and I have yet to be let down by the lack of knowledge to be found. Around the campus there are long tracks students can run down. Also large areas of green grass and trees help the appearance of a comfortable place to wander. So many activities are offered around the campus, I do believe that no student should be bored ever. If students can't find something they like, they can always try something new.

As an individual class the major I study provides me with excellent service. Unfortunately, I feel the rest of the school does not influence my major to be a part of the best activities it offers. Although, I do believe that in time, when I have the opportunity to transfer, my advisors will come through and help me with the processes.

This school provides programs to help study for classes. Tutoring is available if needed and teachers are flexible to the students' schedules. I think that my psychology teacher gave me insight to believe that the teachers do care about the students' future. The workloads are average but are so resourceful that it is really hard to fail a class unless the student's motive is negative. I believe that the teachers make the classes easier for students to get involved in. Technical support really helps in any situation.

Unfortunately, I am a student worker. I work part-time and am trying to go to school. My advisor has always made time to see me and help me through my struggles. The teachers have made themselves available to students for a majority of the time in day. When I was registered in classes I was having trouble with my work schedule and getting it around my school schedule. A few of my teachers were able to work with me to get my studies and homework prioritized. I was able to get my work organized and in time began to show progress. I am thankful that the teachers are involved in class and make time for their students.

Students and staff at the Walla Walla community college are very spirited and involved in extra curricular activities. The pride this school illuminates is completely phenomenal. The educators provide excellent teaching methods to help the students learn and makes it so they enjoy what they are being taught. The areas that are available for quiet study offer the best quality anyone can ask for. So many varieties of extra curricular activities complete this exquisite facility as an outstanding place to be. Tournaments gain the students attention and response as so many are involved. I think Walla Walla Community College is an excellent school to be enrolled in. I look forward to my future as a student here.

I loved my classes and my professors were very knowledgeable, but the process of transferring to a four year university was more hassle and confusing than it should have been. My credits did not transfer properly into my major of wildlife biology, even though the classes were very much associated with this major.

I have not graduated yet, but almost all of my friends that have graduated have successfully found jobs, or potential jobs.

From personal experience, I have found there to be a strong mix of different ethnic backgrounds, different ways and walks of life. Students seem to naturally find those similar to themselves to socialize with, but it is also very easy to find those who have a compliment of differences to learn from and be friends with.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I am getting an excellent education, and I am very happy about the quality of learning I am receiving. I feel that it will benefit me in the long-term with how much I know. I know that I will make a difference with my degree because I will be helping people. The tuition has gone up since my first year here, but it is still affordable. I am working harder this year to get more financial aid and scholarships to help me pay for school. I've learned that getting your FASFA in on-time is very important!

I am a soon to be Sophomore, so It's hard to say much on this topic. As from what I've experienced, its been really understandable. The classes that are taken the fastest, are the most common general ed. classes, but no matter what you'll be able to fit them in sometime throughout the year. I think that they system was made very well.
College Senior 2013-09-06T22:40:46Z
I am a Computer Science major, and I know that the classes I've been taking are really going to benefit me. A long with the direct career classes, came the general ed classes. These are the ones that really blew my mind. I learned so much, and it didn't seem overwhelming. I really liked how the professors were able to spread the workload evenly throughout the quarter.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I feel that the Tuition & Financial aid at WWCC is truely manageable. I myself, am fortunate that I live with my parents and don't pay rent, but the school is really good about providing assistance. If you truly need the money, they will help you find it.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
