Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The campus is a pleasant mix of old and new. When making renovations or designing new buildings, the designers take into consideration the style of the old buildings and construct the new ones to compliment them. W&J is constantly renovating and is always coming up with new ways to improve the facilities on campus every few years, either with vast remodeling of an old building or construction of an entirely new one. With all of this construction, most would think that W&J must not have any old buildings left. However, the college takes pride in some of its oldest and most prestigious buildings and is always doing restoration work on them to make sure they stay in the best possible shape. Old Main is the building that represents W&J, and many important ceremonies have been taking place in this building for decades.

In the new buildings, W&J has installed state-of-the-art equipment in buildings like the Tech Center and the Swanson Science Center. These new buildings give students a chance to do research that they never would have been able to do at another college. There are also many boards made up of students and professors to see what new things W&J could add to improve the school.

The library at W&J is awesome! The reference librarians are so helpful, and the library is a perfect place to study. The athletic center is good too, with up-to-date equipment and long hours. Campus activities are great; it is very easy to get involved at W&J, especially with Volunteer programs.
