Facts

Interviews & Information Sessions

To schedule an interview or a campus tour, contact the Office of Admission at least one week in advance by phone at (724) 223-6534 or by e-mail at admission@washjeff.edu. During the regular academic year, the Office of Admission can also schedule you an overnight visit with at least one week’s notice through either phone or e-mail. The office has an online form you can fill out to schedule tours, overnight stays, or interviews on their main page. Go to washjeff.edu, click on the “Offices & Departments” tab, then click the link for “Admission/Enrollment.” The page will show a link labeled “Schedule a Visit.” The Office of Admission will also arrange an airport pick-up and drop-off shuttle for visitors if given at least two weeks’ advance notice by either phone or e-mail. The only restriction is that they cannot arrange for a shuttle between the hours of 11:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m.

Campus Tours

Campus tours conducted during the academic year are given by student volunteers called “J-Walkers” who give visitors tours of residence halls, academic buildings, the Commons, the Hub, and other facilities across campus.

Overnight Visits

Prospective students are encouraged to visit during the regular class week to get a feel for the routine of student life as well as have a chance to meet professors, coaches, or admissions personnel. Overnight visits cannot be scheduled during exam periods or academic breaks.
