The main campus is MUCH better at handling financial concerns. If you attend the San Antonio Campus it is such a hastle and takes multiple attempts to get information or receive your financial aid. Even with Military benefist! Again....the MAIN campus is a life saver so I hate to rate them as ok.

The computer lab on the main campus is equiped with a moderate amount of computers. The tech guy is usually very busy, but you can normally get on line without a problem. There are three different wifi connections for students and one will always work.

I have attended this school for three years and have not heard a single event that involves drugs (or alcohol for that matter). When I attended previous schools I knew of several events that involved drugs and alcohol so it is nice not to not currently be exposed to this.

Guys & Girls:
I really appreciate the religious cutlure in our school. We pray before tests, for each other, and some professors/students pray before we depart from class. It is a wonderful feeling when you know that the people sitting next to you actively pray for you. The fact that we are small is amazingly rewarding because we really feel like a family.

The school is expensive to attend, but the students need more amnities. We need an open study room where we don't get kicked out at 10pm or earlier. The school grounds could use an update. We are growing too fast for our facility.

I think the school is wonderful, but could use some updates. We only have one tech guy and getting things to work in the computer lab or the wifi can be a hastle. We don't have a library. We don't have a location where the students can study all night.

The drug and alcohol scene is barely visible around campus. Since the school is a Baptist university their main focus here is to promote a healthy lifestyle and worship God. The community and people from campus are very helpful, but as like any other place if you are of age to drink you may do so outside of campus.

There are many things to see in the city of San Antonio and the school is in a great location. There are always things to help keep everyone interested in doing things

The school financial services offices walked me through the entire process and I had no problems at all.

The internet always works for the students and I've never had any issues.

Wayland has no complaints from me when it comes to the different programs offered. The books are kind of pricey but I would attend this school if I had to do it all over again.

I have never eaten at the Campus Dining and do not not know if they even have one available.
College Junior 2013-07-31T18:20:02Z
I've never had any issues with parking at Wayland Baptist University. Sometimes I may even run a little late to class and there is always still available parking

The police force at my school isn't often strict as usually there isn't a need for force of any kind, however in the times that campus police are necessary, they do their job well and depending upon the offense, consequences can be severe but never rash.

On-campus transportation isn't necessary as the campus itself is small enough to allow students the ability to walk.

Communication of and for my financial aid were not clear and as a result of which I am receiving less financial aid than what may have been possible. I recommend constantly checking in with your financial aid officer to make absolutely certain that everything has been taken care of.

I find it quite awe-inspiring how deeply both professors and fellow students truly care for one another and compassionately strive to maintain happiness here at Wayland.

Everyone was very kind and did not discriminate. The students and teachers were also very professional and respectful in regards to religious differences
