Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The food at Wayne State is good, and there is a diverse selection— you can find Mediterranean food, pizza, vegetarian options, and almost anything you can think of. The University has two dining halls that are open to anybody for a charge of about $7, but it is all-you-can-eat, so it’s a good deal. WSU is mainly a commuter school, so most people either bring lunches or feast in the student center because of the many choices there. You'll find fast food options like Subway, Pizza Hut, and KFC there; just be warned that these establishments are a little pricier than their free-standing counterparts.

In the UGL (Undergraduate Library), there is Delilah's Café, which is like a small convenience store that sells premade sandwiches, salads, and fruit salads. Delilah's is a little pricy, but it works if you forget your lunch. There are also vending machines across campus that have built-in microwaves for frozen dinners you can bring from home or for the popcorn you can purchase from the machines.

Healthy and Cheap

There are several places to eat on campus that are reasonably priced and healthy. There is a sushi bar that serves fresh hand rolled sushi everyday. There are several stands that are "healthy carts" that offer a variety of delectable meals that only cost around $2!

Food and Dining on Campus

I don't often eat on campus, so I do not feel comfortable giving food and dining a grade.

Campus Dining

The Towers is the best dorm cafeteria to eat at on campus. Other than that they have little restaurants located around campus so you can grab a bite to eat in between classes.
