The Wayne State student body is so diverse economically, culturally, and physically that it is impossible to try to describe a typical student. Many students are good-looking, but others are not. You’ll find your nerdy students, preppy guys and girls, and gangster types, as well as everything in between. WSU students also vary in age a lot; some students are fresh out of high school and others are returning to school after already obtaining a degree 20 years ago.

You will see quite a few Muslim girls wearing traditional headscarves and many students who dress "ghetto," but the dress style of the average student here varies a lot. In fact, no one really cares about how you dress or your "social status." Everyone is pretty much treated as an equal because everyone is here to learn and better themselves. It is not uncommon to hear two or three different languages, excluding English, on your way to class. This kind of diversity allows the students to become more open minded about other cultures and learn a thing or two. This may help later in life if a student finds himself in a business situation with someone from another country or culture.

People Are Nice

as with every college campus you will find a little bit of everything. Most people are from Detroit or the surrounding area. You have some really hot guys and pretty girls, but you also have the really ugly guys are girls. But, for the most part everyone is really nice and accepting of one another, especially in the dorms.

Guys and Girls at My School.

Both guys and girls are very diverse here. When you look around, there are different styles and looks. Everyone likes to express how they feel and do not worry about what others will think about them. Guys seem more social then the girls sometimes. There are a lot of relationships that go on. You will see someone holding hands, kissing, hugging intensely, etc. almost every day.

Guys and Girls at Wayne State

Most of the guys on campus are pretty cool and down to earth. The girls range from snobby to nice and sweet. There are a lot of beautiful girls on campus and a great variety.
