Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

When asked about parties on campus, the main phrase that comes up is, “I don't know. We have parties?” With that said, there are few, if any, on-campus parties. Occasionally, there is a fraternity party, but the police will hang around outside the house waiting to give citations to underage drinkers. The only other "partying" that happens at WSU is social drinking in the dorm rooms. But alcohol is only permitted in certain rooms based on the occupants' ages, so random checks of the rooms by the RAs are sometimes performed to help enforce the rules.

As for the bars, Harry's, Bookies, and Coaches Corner are popular with underage students because they are also restaurants, meaning students younger than 21 can enter. Covers vary depending on the night. Coaches is cheap, and students involved with the Greek system tend to watch for the deals and can usually be found there on the cheapest nights. Clubs around campus are not very good and are overpriced, but some popular hangout spots include Luna and Club Eden.

I Wouldn't Really Know

My sister and I always joke about ourselves. We say we're bad at being kids, because we don't go out much. From what I hear from my friends, things are pretty fun; but my sister and I avoid the parties and bars, because we don't want any trouble. But by word of mouth, things seem to be up to par. I'll give it a B, based on what I've heard, but I'm not able to give a grade based on a first-hand account.
