The class sizes are so small that it is practically impossible not to learn. The teachers are always there and truly do care about the students. It's an awesome environment to be in and you are guaranteed to learn.

Webb provides you with a computer. It is a top of the line model, ready to run graphics-intensive programs like AutoCAD, Rhino, or Inventor. Incidently, this also makes them pretty good gaming platforms, if you have the time. Each classroom has its own printer, which is kept stocked. There is a computer lab, but the computers there are rarely used, although the lab itself is a good place for a small group of students to work on a project together. The Internet is wireless and lightning fast.

Mildly Athletic Sports – Webb is small, and, therefore, it's emphasis is not on sports. Despite this, the majority of students on campus are involved in at least one if not more of our sports. Our more popular and successful teams include the sailing team, volleyball team, and tennis team. Since we are so small, we don't play to win championships, but we all have a grand time doing it.

Labs Have the Coolest Toys – Webb Institute has extensive mechanical laboratories for introducing students to the fundamentals of the workings of steam engines, diesel engines, and gas turbines. Webb also has one of very few student ship testing tanks in the country. Our tank is capable of handling 5-ft models in many sea states.
