I love Ogden. There's usually a lot to do around here, especially during the weekends.

Though a lot of people here are religious, there is still a good amount of diversity here. This school is very accepting of the LGBT population, which is a very good thing.

This is a commuter school. They have student passes that are fairly cheap and last all year. The campus shuttle, for the most part, is on time and easily accessible. UTA transit is great in the morning; they have a fast bus straight to campus now. At night, it's almost unpredictable because the buses almost never arrive on time.

Most people bring their laptops, but there are always computers available in the different computer labs here. The Wi-Fi here is relatively fast. They have printing and copying stations.

Aside from the hockey team, our varsity teams don't do very well. The games are still fun to go to; even though very few people attend.

I was bullied a lot since the beginning of the semester, and I've only been here for one semester. I had so much trouble meeting people here; I only really know people in my seminar-based classes. Other than that, the classes are good, and I love how the professors show a lot of interest in their fields of study. That's pretty much it, though.

Some people smoke on campus, but other than that, drug/alcohol use isn't very noticeable.

Make sure you are on top of your FAFSA applications. Your loans aren't disbursed until you complete your MPN, which I wasn't notified about until close to the end of the semester, right before the deadline.

There are many different majors offered here, more than any in the state.
College Freshman 2013-12-09T18:24:03Z
The professors I've had so far are really knowledgeable about their area of study, and they are happy to help outside of class when you need it.

Health & Safety:
This is a very safe campus. They have Code Purple which warns you when to not go on campus in case of not only bad weather, but when the campus is on lockdown or potentially unsafe.

It really depends on whether or not you like it. Be prepared for a lot of snow in the winter.

Guys & Girls:
Most people keep to themselves or their high school friend and don't go out to meet other people. Most people here, especially those from in-state, are religious. There are a good amount of people that do care about their education, which is a good thing.

It's not the best, and it's pretty expensive. Not a lot of variety here, and they don't operate at night.
College Senior 2013-12-06T05:32:26Z
long lines with the shuttles
College Senior 2013-12-06T05:31:46Z
hardly any greek life at all
College Freshman 2013-12-02T22:49:16Z
There is very few parking places close to campus
College Freshman 2013-11-20T14:24:42Z
The shuttles are running and are usually on time!
College Freshman 2013-11-20T14:23:53Z
I have never looked for a house off of campus, I am currently living at home!
College Freshman 2013-11-20T14:22:59Z
There are many places off campus that are good, easy to get to, and fast!
College Freshman 2013-11-20T14:21:18Z
I have always lived in this area and always enjoy going to Ogden to do things!

Most of the buildings feel relatively new and are up to date with the new technologies. The cost seems to be the same where ever you go in Utah so its average. There isn't to much of a social circle there.
College Junior 2013-11-19T20:54:11Z
I have never had any trouble finding a computer when I needed one to do work on. Most all of the buildings have a place where you can go and study or get homework done it. I bring my laptop occasionally and there is always easy internet access available.

I like the town of Ogden, its right up in the mountains for a great view, hike, or bike ride. The Campus offers lots of recreational resources to buy or rent equipment to use around the area. There are also lots of rivers, ski resorts, and lakes to have fun in. The parking on campus stinks and its hard to find a good parking spot unless your willing to walk for a while. There is always something to be doing though.
College Junior 2013-11-19T20:50:05Z
I feel that on campus dining is a little expensive but there are plenty of places to go just off campus. I don't really eat on campus so I don't have to much feedback other than the hot chocolate is really good.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
