You Either Love It or You Hate It

I've known lots of people who haven't enjoyed Wentworth because its a school where you have to know exactly what you want to do in order to succeed because it's so detailed to certain majors. Its also a school that can be difficult because it lacks school spirit and mostly a sense of community. I have enjoyed my time at Wentworth because I've met some amazing people and am very passionate about my major. If you know exactly what you want to do then this is the place for you, but if you're still unsure and just want to come for the "college experience" then maybe you should look elsewhere.

Personal Laptops

Wentworth has a program in which every student is given a laptop during their time at school. Every student is given a new one their first year and they exchange it for another new one at the beginning of their junior year. The one that they receive their junior year is there's to keep, even after they graduate. So this program is really great because it allows for every student to have the necessary programs and not be held back in classes because of owning a poor machine. The campus is also set up with wifi in every building on campus, including the dorms.

Interior Design Program Rocks!

I am in the interior design program and I think it's superb. In this program you learn a lot! Probably more than you need to but this program is great because it's a small class (I have 20 in my year!) so you get to know your professors very well and you get one-on-one attention from them, which is important for this kind of major. I have no worries about finding a career in the future, especially in the Boston area because Wentworth is regarded highly in the field of interior design in the local area. I hope to one day work at a large interior design firm and eventually start my own.
