There is nothing more incredible than being surrounded by intelligent women from all over the world and feeling like you are all one, giant family. The sisterhood at Wesleyan College is unique to the women that make up our community and creates a bond that lasts a lifetime. Regardless of how involved some women are in sisterhood activities, at the end of the day, there is a sense of unity that is felt among students, as well as the alumnae. Wesleyan’s greatest asset is the student body because each individual possesses a special character that embodies the school’s ideals. Every peer has strong aspirations and an even greater appetite for success. It is this quality that allows professors to challenge students on an intellectual and personal level. Over a four-year period, Wesleyannes (Wesleyan students) cover academic material from all areas of study and simultaneously surpass the standards of their own degree. Although some programs are better structured in preparing students for certain careers over others, the faculty and staff work hard to ensure that all students will be highly successful in their field of work.

While a few aspects are disappointing, many students cannot imagine being anywhere else. Everything about the school has the students' best interests in mind, and the faculty and staff make an impact on your experience. Wesleyannes take full advantage of internship programs, networking opportunities, and interdisciplinary research where they can acquire skills necessary to excel in graduate school and their career. The community seems out of place in Macon, but that is because the Wesleyan College experience is unlike any other.
