Housing is great. The upperclassmen don't even have to move off campus because there are apartments on campus. Most dorms are suite styled, only one has community style bathrooms.

Health & Safety:
Campus police are always available and will escort you anywhere if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable. The dorms aren't as clean as they could be, but everyone is different. Also, we don't have a permanent nurse so you will have to schedule your sickness around her availability.

Athletics at Wesleyan are not taken very seriously.

I have been extremely pleased with the academics at Wesleyan College. They are very demanding yet very rewarding at the same time. I feel that I am pushed to try very hard yet encouraged by my professors.

At Wesleyan College everyone is welcome to talk to whom ever they want without any judgement. The school is very welcoming to everyone.
College Sophomore 2013-01-02T19:15:36Z
the police is very strict on the safety of the young women that live on campus which is a plus.

Because there is plenty of difference buildings that can help with anyone special needs.

There are very few options available if you don't own a car. But each week the school runs shuttle service at a minimal charge to nearby shopping areas and malls.

The weather here is very pleasant most of the times. There are few days when it is bad but,it doesn't go to any extreme level.
College Sophomore 2012-12-27T03:05:46Z
The academics here are very good with acessible and dedicated professors to teach them. As for the curriculum, there are a wide array of subjects to choose from with the popular ones being Biology, Economics and the arts. The workload is manageable in most aspects and there are pleanty of teaching assistants to help you in times of need.

In the beginning the dining was good. I think it is because I came in as a Freshmen so they wanted the class to feel welcomed but late on the food became disgusting. There are times when I don not eat because the selections they have are not good at all. The food should have more variety and better selections.

The academics are extremely challenging but the professors will be willing to help you if you need anything. You will find out their office hours at the beginning of the year and trust me, they will be willing to see you. Also, hold on to your syllabus like it is your life because they do go by that syllabus and it will tell you all of the necessary projects and assignments.

There is plenty of diversity regarding religion and ethnicity at Wesleyan College. You can simply walk down the dorm hall and smell different cuisines from various countries being made. There is a mixture of people from China, Kazakhstan, Germany, etc.

I love my Human Services major. A large area of focus is in both business and psychology whereas most local schools focus more on criminal justice and government assistance. The workload is rigorous, but the professors only expect your best efforts. Tutoring is offered at no extra charge and the learning environment created by faculty and students is excellent. Internship opportunities are abundant and faculty advisors are always ready to help make the process of obtaining your degree and meeting its requirements as stress-free as possible.

Health & Safety:
Wesleyan has a very small campus and the side gates to the school close at 8pm, allowing security to focus on the one main gate. I have never felt scared walking through campus after dark. There are a couple of areas that could use some extra lighting.

There is everything from Subway and Firehouse Subs to an Arby's and Burger King. There are about 6 restraunts within walking distance. The only disadvantage: they don't offer student discounts.

Guys & Girls:
All Girl School – This is an all girl school. We do not have curfew and visitation policies arent really bad so theres no problem because we can still see guys. I love the all girl thing because it keeps us focused and allows us to be comfortable with each other and learn more about who we are as women.

I Love My School – my school has great academics but its not as fun as persay a public school. The social scene is not really all that but if you are focused on ONLY academics, this is the school for you .

The Financial Aid is AWESOME ! I received a great package and the staff is so friendly and efficient. It was not stressful at all.

Upperclassmen housing rules are the best. WHen your a freshman, theres no visitation after 12 on weekdays and after 2am on weekends. I personally think it is better to live in Wortamm which is the suite style housing. This option may work better for you if you dont mind cleaning your bathroom daily/weekly. It is definitely more spacious in there.

I beg to differ – Professors are some the best in their fields who like to challenge students and motivate them to work hard. The classrooms room size is small which allows room for individual growth and leadership skills to develop. Professors are generally easy to talk to outside of the classroom environment and extremely helpful. The academics are rigorous and insightful to real world situations and help prepare students for jobs.

Delicious Southern Cooking – The dining hall tries to be more diverse in their food options. Our campus is very diverse so the dining hall has learned to adapt to student's tastes. Students are allowed to rank food and provide suggestions about its quality. Also, students may provide recipes for the cooks to try and replicate. It's a fun, social atmosphere in the dining hall and who can beat southern cooking?

Exciting Subject Matter – Both majors are demanding, but luckily I have already finished most of my music major and started my new major. I enjoy every bit of it and find the subject matter challenging, stimulating, but fun. Everyday I look forward attending classes because the professors care about what they teach to their students. The workload is doable even though I am a declared double major and undeclared double minor. There are plenty of internship and job opportunities on campus; but students must work for them. Last semester, I had two internships during the spring break; one at the Allman Brother's Museum and the other one at the Cherry Blossom Commissions office. I worked with the finance directors and learned some very insightful work skills. With my major, I know that I will be able to work for any government job and that is precisely what I attend to do. Thankfully, with this major, it has helped me become a seasonal park ranger at a national park.
