Like any other campus, diversity is a good thing.

The school is diverse, but as not as much as a school in a big city that everyone is drawn to.

The African american community is 9%, Asian is only 2%, Hispanic is 3%, White is 83%. The out of state students is only at 16%. I consider it a very diverse and well cultured university open to many different people. The only reason I give it a A- is because sometimes I do see a separation of race with the different clubs and groups and I would prefer it to be united as one race, the human race. :)

West Chester University has all walks of life among the campus! The diversity compared to the entire population demonstrates how WCU is not just for one type of race, religion, etc. The size of WCU is not too large or too small, but enough to allow a person to see the different views, religions, races that our world is. Our classrooms and campus bring fourth a community in which embraces who someone is and embraces overall diversity no matter what!

I have met so many people from different countries, backgrounds, and had different experiences. From religion to politics you can find it all on West Chesters campus.
