I have only just been enrolled so there for I do not have a grade average to admit. However the main reason I chose this school is because of the small class and that all my classes are located in one building and I can get all my technical skills done in a consecutive 18 months and they have a great graduation rate.

At WVJC you are not another face in the crowd. The classes are a manageable size, the teacher are awesome and will do anything in their power to help any student. I would feel comfortable going to either of my teachers with any problem i have rather it would be a class related subject or just something that i am dealing with outside of class

we have several computer labs that are open to students at different times but our resource center is open the entire day and we have full access to it. Even if there are no classes in session

My school is made up primarily of non-traditional students of which have jobs as well as families. Most are there to seek their career in a faster manner than you would at a university . It is a faster paced environment. There is diversity that falls into the age bracket of the students; younger hang out with the same as well as older are found with the same. Many are happy to socialize but their career comes first and foremost.

We can take a refresher course once we have graduated at no extra charge. They will assist us in upgrading our laptops at no cost, only for parts or software.

The main reason I chose this school was because of the flexibility in class schedules. Im a single mother. I didnt have any credits to transfer.

I like my school for many reasons.... Everyone is like family. They are there for support in any way that you may need. They are also there to give you the extra nudge when you need it. Im very comfortable there. Im very glad I chose them after being out for all these years.

Network Has Issues – sometimes the school has issues with different websites we as students use. the resource center needs to actually be bigger i would almost say that less than 15 persons at any time be in there. they have a computer lab across the hallway but it may or may not be open dueto other classes using it. the college as a whole is wonderful just upgrade a few things. with the fact of being cramped, there arent enough printers you have to wait in line to try and catch when your paper etc is coming and you might be missing a page or two if multiple people are using the printers or a computer. some use the computer for personalstuff and i feel there needs to be a set time since the computers are limited. thats why i got my own at home because of this.

Happy With Choice – the school is convenient to me . the school takes absolute pride in what they do as a team. the teachers are wonderful and im relaxed when i come to school. it breaks up my everyday life while i have the chance to complete my education at the same time. there are clubs and activities but i also wish there were more. i would like to get involved in the school more.

The only resources we have is a resource center (library). there are clubs and such but nothing like a regular college would have. I think it would greatly improve the school if we had other forms of resources.

Started Out With 3 Days a Week – It was great in the beginning going 3 days a week but as the course went on most of us were bumped up to the full 5 days a week. Depends on what your major is.

Possible Change? The school was okay. I enrolled in the IT course. Many of the things taught I had already learned from high school and vo-tech courses, though I did learn a few new things.
Class size was nice - not too many people which made it easier to get questions answered.
As for the free refresher course I've called numerous times since graduating but oddly enough people with information on that are never in. I've stopped in, e-mailed but have had no luck. I give that part a F.

Diversity= 0 Nice People – My classes were filled with people looking for career changes. They juggled the family life, spouse and children and work so it was difficult to make friends to enjoy out of class activities with. It was really no bother since I was there to learn.

I love this school the people that work there and the teacher are all nice. The teachers are really good to work with and can give you one on one help if needed. We also have a tutoring group there to that you can get help with if you are having trouble. As soon as you walk through the doors you know that you are welcomed there and that you belong there. Would not go to any other college.

Enrolling for school was very easy. Everyone involved were very helpful and knowledgable. I had a very pleasant experience with finacial aid. they were able to tell me what I was going to owe to the penny before I even enrolled. This made the enrollment process a lot easier and my decision to enroll at this college easier as well.

My Experience at WVJC – I like going to this college. Everyone is very helpful and you the teachers give you one on one help if needed. I wouldn't transfer to any other school. The schedule is not a problem for me. It still gives me time to spend with my family. I think this college is great.
