WVU Tech is a STEM school, so of course they will have some of the best computer equipment available to the students. The computer lab is awesome, there is a great amount of computers and printing is very cheap.

At WVU Tech, unless you hang with the right people you would never know if there's an illegal substance being used or if there are student drinking alcohol. The campus police officers and the faculty work really hard the keep illegal drugs and alcohol away from the campus.

As many people may know, Montgomery, WV is really small. The off-campus dining option are not very close, they are atleast 10-20 minutes away but the options are fair. There are a variety of restaurants which range from fast-food to fine dining. The key issue would be getting to the restaurants which explains why it would recieve a "C".

The food, that I have ate, is delicious. However, it's still not like home.

Parking is fine, except that the only lot that usually has an empty space if forever away.

People from all over the world travel to Tech to play for our soccer team or participate in the Engineering programs.

The students at Tech take sports very seriously and have tons of school spirit. The majority of our sport teams made it to Regionals this past year.

There is a bus and a train that run by WV Tech, but other than that, walking or driving are your only options.

I am currently an intern for the state and the workload for an Accountant major is not terrible. It does get harder, but never more than an average student can handle as long as they work and study.

There are plenty of areas of study, but there is a limit considering it is a Technical College. They are now increasing their areas of study though and have even picked up Creative Writing as a minor.

I am very active in my school. I am a writer for the WVU Tech Collegian, member of Phi Kappa Tau, and am about to start a lacrosse club on campus. If there is an event, I know about it. The reason being that I write about most events and my fraternity holds many events for the school year. The school itself holds at least three activities for the students that attend every week. The weekends slow down because most people go home for the weekend. But the campus stays active almost all school year.

Health & Safety:
Everywhere I look there is always a campus security officer on the corner of the street which makes me feel much safer.

Any activity that the University hosts they provide transportation for all students unless they fill up. Buses and a train station are within walking distance from the campus to Charleston, the closest major city, or another state.

The campus is like a family tree and it's great to see familiar faces. It's not too big or too small. Parking can be an issue sometimes, but that is par for the course at most colleges.

It is a bit difficult to be an engineering student. The workload is a bit more than other majors but I enjoy it. It helps me to develop better time management skills. The math, physics, and chemistry classes can be difficult but are always interesting and exciting to learn about.

I simply applied for the engineering program at WVU Tech and I was admitted based on my past GPA. It was very easy to do and then an admissions councilor called me to help me register for the classes I would need. It was a simple process and I am ready to go for fall semester.

The engineering program is a great program and I'm learning to use my time management skills well. This will be my 3rd degree and I think it is the best one yet, and I finally have no worries about being able to find a job after graduation. I realize that engineering is a growing and evolving field and that I will always be able to learn and grow in my career.

Most Internships are unpaid but only require about 20 hours of your time per week. They offer invaluable experience that is more than money could ever buy and help to add value to your resume.

Most of our sports do very well. Only thing that should be updated is oir facilities. Their is no baseball, softball, or soccer field
College Senior 2013-06-26T15:41:33Z
If you pay for the parking pass then parking isnt a problem f9r some buildings. If you are an engineering major there is no close lot so that comes a problem.

Health & Safety:
The dorms on campus are not safe at all. If you have a key you can get into any part of one dorm. Their is no security at the enterances so anyone can stay for an unlimited amount of time.

Greeks at WVU Tech are very helpful for the campus as a whole. Teachers and administrative people can see their hard work but, students think greek life is silly and most are not interested other than when a greek organization is doing something that ia free.
