Best Places to Find a Spot
Spots on the side of the street like on High Street are usually available. These are all meter spots. There are also several meter lots near High Street that are often available.
Good Luck Getting a Spot Here
One of the hardest places to find a spot is in the Mountainlair during the day. It is filled with cars of commuters and professors, and it's almost impossible to get into unless you are there very early.
Getting a Parking Permit
Parking permits are needed to park in any University-sponsored lot. They are eligible for use during the entire academic year and can be purchased at the WVU Parking Services office. One permit does not work for all lots, however, so you are only legally allowed to park in the lot you choose to purchase a permit for. Parking in any other lot leaves you responsible and open to tickets or towing.
