Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Overall, students have made it pretty clear that they are really enjoying their time at WVU. Looking back through this book, it can be seen that WVU has garnered many high grades for subjects such as social scene, academics, and athletics. It is clear that there are many things the school excels in. The aforementioned are huge parts of campus life at WVU, and the students have said nothing but good things about them. While there were many high grades, there were a few grades that show the University could still improve in certain areas. It is clear that the campus dining services are not doing a great job pleasing the students, nor is the parking situation on campus. Considering these are two pretty important things on a college campus, the University should quickly take the right steps to move those two issues into a positive direction.

The attitude at WVU seems pretty split between academics and social events. While most students attend WVU with the expectation of a great education, there are a select few who come to WVU because of the potential party scene. Either way, WVU offers something for each side. With each incoming class comes the promise to improve upon faults and provide students with the best possible experience and education. The athletics program is on the rise and on the verge of gaining national prominence. The academic programs are showing promise as more WVU graduates are gaining recognition for their accomplishments. WVU is a student-oriented university, and should be considered by incoming freshmen who want to be treated to a great college education and experience.

Amazing

wvu is honestly the best. you meet the greatest people, the town is beautiful, professors are helpful, many major options, and the social life aspect is out of this world. the football games and tailgates are so much fun, you will see thousands of people of all ages getting hammered and having the time of their life. the atmosphere of this town is amazing. you will here the "ASS****" "LETS GO! MOUNTAINEERS!" and "EAT S*** PITT" chants all day, everyday, for your entire stay here. there is always something to do (any day/night of the week), classes arent bad, and the expierence is something i will never forget. i wouldnt trade this school for the world. ps. everyone thats visited here that i know of said it was the best time they have ever had and theyve never experienced or heard of any town like morgantown.

I love West Virginia to death, and...

I love West Virginia to death, and I will always be a Mountaineer. I would apply here in every different reality in which I exist. In Morgantown, there is always a group of people who you will make friends with and will hang out with you. My favorite is singing John Denver's "Country Roads" after a football game.

I loved it. The land grant atmosphere suits me, and the spirit of this school is the best. There were too many opportunities for any one person to take advantage of. I've even got to rub shoulders with big names in my fields of study. There's a lot of school spirit. I was in the marching band, and the stadium was packed a sold half hour before the game. This town is nuts, in a good way.
