Overall, the majority of students say they had a great experience at Western Illinois University and that they learned so much about themselves during their time here. Of course, it’s not all smooth sailing. Students might struggle with their academics at times or may have trouble getting involved in student activities at first, but they learn that it is important to find the resources that will help them in the long run—and there are many resources on campus, so use them!

For example, students quickly learn that it is important to ask their professors questions if they don’t understand something; otherwise, if they say nothing, their grades could suffer.
