I think that the professors do an adequate job of making sure that we understand the material. They are willing to meet with us, even if not during office hours, and allow us the opportunities to succeed. They understand that sometimes life gets in the way, and help to ensure we are able to get our assignments in and credit even if late. The only flaw I have found thus far is that with the nursing program you must have a BNA certification, and well it can be very difficult to get this and take all of the prerequisites as well. The people that teach this class are contracted in and do not really work around the schedule of the other classes offered.

I have many good things about the career services at my school but I have not yet needed their help.

This college does have limited majors but it will give you a great start at education and the major you are looking for by getting you over the basics.

I'm majoring in medical coding, and my classes get straight to the point and include useful information without a lot of extra classes. Most my classes are on-line but I can have as much contact with my teachers or as little and that is wonderful.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
It's not expensive and it's really worth it

There are a few flexible times that work with your schedule making it easy for work and family time or any other thing.

The professors are very involved in the students personal and academic lives and generally care about helping them succeed in life. They will go to the stars and beyond to help you achieve your dream. They also counsel when needed and push when needed.

Older campus with older equipment. But access to it is almost at anytime so it may be slightly older but you don't have to wait forever to use facilities.

The classes are usually tailored around working students. They try and strive to make sure that your classes and work schedule work together and its not uncommon for Professors to work out extra hours for you to get your stuff in.

Small classes with teachers that care about you. You are a name not a number! They will go overboard to make sure u succeed.

The lab is open long hours so we are able to go in and do research and print papers.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The classes are fairly priced, But I have found it is hard for the average student to get financial aid.

I beleive that the online courses a good thing. You do not need to be in class everyday, but you also do not have the interaction with the instuctor and students. I think that online classes are good for people who work and have a family. It is a good way to learn time managment because you do not have a instuctor telling you what is due when. You have to read and keep track. For me the work load has been pretty easy. I also think you need to be careful on the classes you take online. If you are not very good at a subject it may be better to take the class in person so you can get more one on one help.

There Isn't Much – There isn't much really unique about this campus. It is a smaller branch of the main campus an hour away. The resourses are limited and so there isn't really much unique about it.

Rescources Are Good – For the most part, the school has great rescources and they are always willing to help you find what you need.

Campus Isn't Bad. This campus of WNCC is pretty small. There isn't much to do here. Some of the faculty are kinda snobby but for the most part the school is very nice.

WNCC, Nebraska – Each teacher that I have ever met here at WNCC has displayed a genuine care for the student and each other. This college is set a a small community but does well in preparing those graduating with of real-world knowledge. Classes do close and new ones hardly open. Staffing is limited and thus, so are their available courses but Student: Advising, Services, and Financial Aid peoples are wonderful. Other universities and state colleges take credits and also allow for students to work closely with a program adivsor from their campuses in order to reap maximum benefits. The Nursing program is huge here but those wanting to follow another path have a strong academic back-round to encourage them through.

Wncc, Nebraska – This college is trying out a new librarian who has crazy ideas of adjusting with current times. It was a place to study with a few computers and actual books, but he wants to bring in everyone from another building that test and tutors students, trendy seating and net-books. The worst addition so far has been charging printing per copy without prior notice or even a page cap on all accounts. Surveillance was recently placed to further make this area uncomfortable. His next step is to continue taking out more books and replace them with costly E-copies! Other labs are functional with some type of faculty almost always on hand. Dorm labs are well tended as well.

Human Services Tranferring Inot Social Work-WNCC, Nebraska – I could apply myself much more but as a single parent, my teachers understand that I do have set priorities. Each class expects for work to be completed but the grades each individual on their own level of competencies. I have taken many art classes that I will use in my Master's program alongside with the Human Services related courses. By stating that I am a student with WNCC, many job offers have risen. I can handle 18crd hours by means of working my schedule out beforehand with my advisor. Many tutors are available to get me through College Algebra and any other prerequisites along the way!
Sorry, there are no reviews.
