The drug scene at Westmont is barely noticeable, though it does factor into the type of people you hang out with. For the most part, you would not even know what drugs, if any, are present on campus.

Westmont is strictly a drug-free campus and they enforce it very well. There is about a 1 in 10 chance that you would encounter someone using drugs, let alone distributing drugs. However, it is not perfect and people who you would think live lives of integrity indulge heavily in drugs off campus.

Safety With the Students in Mind – There is no alcohol allowed on campus nor are students allowed to smoke on campus. The use of any other drugs is prohibited. I have not seen or hear of any alcohol or drugs on campus. The usage by the older students that are of legal drinking age is minimum and is not bragged about around campus. There is no peer pressure at all to drink or use drugs and because of that many students and parents feel much safer. There are different punishments for the degree at which a policy was violated and which part of the policy was violated. The punishments are fair and so they match the crime.

Study Drug and Weed Pressure – The drug scene at Westmont is definitely undercover since you get in a lot of trouble if you get caught but it depends. Most students use study drugs like Adderall that they get from kids who actually have the prescription. Also, quite a few kids that I know of deal Marijuana which I'd say is the drug of choice at Westmont. But, usually kids go down to the beach to smoke instead of doing it on campus where they are likely to get caught.
