Being in a specific program at school helps you to have focus. You will better learn the lessons well and become so much into its application when the course is competed. One person can't be the master of all, so if you didn't major in a specific area in a choosing career, it will be difficult to perfectly function in any. This is clearly demonstrated when one is on his/her internship, you will not be as good as the long time worker but you will have enough knowledge about any assignment or task before you. One good aspect we take with us where ever we go is how to manage with time, or better say how to make wise use of your time, and this is best put into practice when your workload is like a mountain before you to climb. How well you perfectly handle your workload with all the facilities available to you lies in your hand. Because if you learn how to plan your daily activity, all will go well with you or will be shown when you are out there on your internship. Responsibility and duty will clearly distinguish you from the rest of your peers.

The main difficulty in being in the Physics Major was staying on a correct path that leads to graduation. It is easy to graduate early if you make sure the academic advisor really analyzes your schedule and keeps you on track.

I'm a chemistry major and for the most part my experience has been very positive. I have small class sizes, which means it's easy to talk to professors. It's easy to get into all my classes and they have prepared me for life after. Some drawbacks are some boring professors where I didn't learn squat, and some moments of unnecessary busy work.

I enjoy being in the Liberal studies program at Westmont. The department has put together little get togethers so that people can meet each other which I have appreciated and my advisor has made himself available which is good.

Top Notch – Our school has the #1 kinesiology department for liberal arts schools across the country. As a Communication Studies major, I have a variety of paths that I could take with this major. The different classes offered and the level of interest the professors take with their students means that I will be prepared for both the working world and graduate school should I choose to take that next step.
