I myself have not taken online courses but others who have say it is very easy to take online courses. Even though it is online, communication with the teacher is great as if it was in person.

The workload is much at times but students must remember we are in a fast paced program so we have to complete what we are given no matter the time length. The campus is very open and large which allows a large numbers of students to attend each term.

Professors cover a wide variety of different courses that fall under the criminal justice category such as community policing, criminology, criminalistics, diversity in criminal justice, corrections, and even gangs. All the information that is covered is useful for each student's future and is all important to know. To get into the program, it is very use to register and start right away which is nice for someone who is motivated for college.

Westwood College is unique because all of the teachers have once worked or still currently work in the field they are teaching. This provides more of a hands on experience and gives insight to what it is like in the actual field rather than just inside a classroom.

I love that Westwood College classes are all fast and straight to the point; this allows students to go through school faster and be out on the field sooner. Westwood staff truly care about their students in school progress and provides any resources one might need well in or out of school.

I have not graduated yet, I am barely beginning my classes. I have heard great things from my counselor. Also I have a close friend of mine that attended Westwood College, graduated with a Bachelors in Computer Network System Security. As a post-graduate He was able to get a job using all of the skills he learned from the school, and three years later is still with the same company, and has got promoted.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The school tuition is very expensive. They have help and gave me tips about financial aids. With the tuition I will be paying, I think it's worth getting my education.

The criminal justice program has it's own career advisor. Lots of help and great instructors that are retired and experienced in the field and some are currently in the field.

Still not there, but it's different for every graduate. I have heard good things though depending on the field of study and also on how complicated it is to get the job you desire.

Very helpful, care about the students academics and success. Before the term is over the school already has your schedules ready for the following term which is great compared to community colleges. Small classes and one on one interaction with the professor.

They provide you with all the tools you need. As in student support which guide you in problems you may encounter and just someone to talk to. Also have a great fincial aid department which will help you as much as possible to get you money for school. Then the program chair automatically enroll roll you so you dont have trouble getting classes, you will always have classes and will move on if you dont fail.

some professors are very active with their students and do a good job in making themselves available to students. They stay after class to help you if necessary. Also let you know what days they are on the campus that way you know where to find them if anything. Some professors on the other hand don't really go the extra mile to help student. They will leave you behind and won' respond to any of your emails.

I am a business major and so far I have received classes that will help me in my career. I like because a lot of the students attending are very focused on there studies and I really like that. Sometimes some of the classes are a bit hard but still manage to make it thru.

The computer network is great at my school. In the classrooms each desk has its own computer, the speed is fast, printing on campus is easily accessible. Since the school provides you with all this, it is unnecessary for a personal computer or printer.

My school has every type of help, either it's career, tutoring, etc. and the faculty staff is great. They meet all your needs from transportation issues to housing problems.

At Westwood college the professors are really involved with the students, in all their classwork needs. Westwood makes your life really easy because it works with your schedule, and time. Furthermore it is a small college.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I'm receiving is worth it all. The material is all based on my career which is what I want. The financial aid program is great, they help you throughout the process, and even if you don't apply for financial aid at Westwood they find a way to pay your tuition.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
