Westwood has set schedules so scheduling work around the school schedule is very simple. The terms are 10 weeks, so a student can let their employer know a few weeks in advance of their need for specific days off. In terms of the teachers/professors being flexible, they are, in that, if one does not make it to class without prior notice, points are deducted and their grade will suffer. Class will go on even if a student shows up late or not at all. Flexibility, is really between the teacher and the individual.

In all honesty, students, for the most part seem to be career minded, yet tired and sleepy. Most, like myself work all week. Some of us work two jobs and support ourselves while attending school. I can not comment on average religious or political affiliations as I'm not one to stir that pot. As far as the ethnic side of our student body, I would have to say there is a good diversity with the majority being of both Asian/Filipino and Hispanic. A smaller white community make up the rest. Overall, I believe that the student body has a common goal of graduation, and success in whatever career or business venture they choose.

All students that attend college online are required to have a computer and internet connection.

With online education it takes a lot of self- decipline and hard work. Students must have critical thinking skills and understand written communication or they will not succeed. The registration process is a lot faster compared to a traditional college because everything was completed online.
