Varsity sports on Wheaton's campus...
Varsity sports on Wheaton's campus are rather serious, and most of Wheaton's teams are nationally ranked on the D-III level. The games are fun to attend. Intramurals are offered in almost every sport, and they're a great way to make friends.

The varsity sports are very competitive. As a member of the baseball team, there is a lot of commitment, which is necessary to maintain the level expected out of Wheaton student-athletes. Since the school is so small, there is good support for all sports.

I don’t know too much about the sports programs at Wheaton aside from seeing my friends involved devoting an extremely large amount of their time to practice, games, and exercising. I have a friend on the softball team , and according to her, the devotion it takes is serious and not for anyone not fully committed to being an excellent athlete. |

The track, basketball, soccer, and baseball teams are big, and we also have a great synchronized swimming team. I have been to a few games, and school spirit is insane—and we have a great Lyon as our mascot. |

School Spirit
Wheaton students really want to be here and show it in a lot of different ways. Clothing is the most popular way to show spirit, along with going to sporting events and cheering on teams at home and away games. Of course, just like at any school, there are things that students don’t like about Wheaton, but they get used to those things and realize that Wheaton is a great spot and one of the best places they can spend four years of their lives.
Getting Tickets
Wheaton students do not need to pay for tickets to any sporting event on campus.
Most Popular Sports
The most popular sports on campus are lacrosse, soccer, and baseball. Each of these teams are very good and usually one of the best teams in the conference. A lot of students will endure bad weather to see these sporting events.
Most Overlooked Teams
The tennis team—their events are not attended by a lot of students, but they are a really good team and usually have really good seasons.
Best Place to Take a Walk
The path around the whole campus is always popular. It goes around Peacock Pond, the Dimple, and upper and lower campus. Students walk around it when the weather gets nice.
