Over the past few years, more guys have been coming to the College, but there are still more girls than guys. With such a small campus, word travels really fast on who is with who and who is doing what. So, if you don’t want people knowing your personal business, don’t tell a soul, because if you do, everyone will find out. In terms of hookups versus relationships, it seems the students on campus are divided—there are guys and girls that are only looking for hookups, and then there are others who are looking for relationships that can last for days or years. There are students at Wheaton looking for everything, and you are bound to find someone who suits your needs. Students Speak Out

There's a variety as far as types...
There's a variety as far as types of people, socioeconomic status, dress style, and music taste. There's a handful of goths, handful of geeks, a bunch of jocks, some preps, a ton of hippies, and just people who don't really fall into a category. They're generally friendly when walking around.

Students here range from all...
Students here range from all types. Most of the students on campus are athletes due to the small nature of the school. I have met students from all over the world, and it has been a great experience.

Most guys are stupid—except for me. There are some cool guys, though, but not enough. There are lots of materialistic, rich girls. There are hot girls, but many of them are annoying. Stupid girls are really annoying, but luckily, there are smart, hot girls, too, but not as many as the dumb ones. |

Sadly, many of the guys on campus...
Sadly, many of the guys on campus are jerky jocks. They know they're attractive and that they are in such high demand—girls greatly outnumber the guys—and they let it go to their heads a bit. That said, you will find a handful of sweet guys who are smart, driven, and nice. I prefer geeky guys myself, and we do have some of them floating around.

The girls are hot, and the guys are okay. There are a lot of gay guys—it all goes back to when we were an all-women's college.

Social Scene
At Wheaton, there are parties every night of the week for those who enjoy the party life, but the big parties don’t come until Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. The students here go out and drink a lot, but there is still studying that goes on.
Hookups or Relationships?
On campus, there are more hookups than there are relationships, but in the past few years the number of relationships has grown. It seems students have been looking for something more long lasting than a one-night stand—but there still are a lot of those that go on during the year.
Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls
The most popular place to meet people is at parties on and off campus. A lot of people also make really close friends and relationships with people in their classes and people they randomly meet in Chase.
Dress Code
In general, Wheaton is a preppy school, but there is a lot of variety. Athletes are usually in their sweats and warm-ups, while there are a few students who live in sweatpants and hoodies. However, most Wheaton students dress for looks and not comfort.
