Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

The words “For Christ and His Kingdom” resound through the air of Wheaton’s campus, defining Wheaton students and guiding the faculty. Statistically, Wheaton students are some of the most contented in the nation. Why? The main reason given for this love of Wheaton is, simply, the fellow students. Nowhere else will you find so many talented, passionate, genuine, and Christ-centered students gathered in one place. The people you find at Wheaton will inspire you. They will challenge you, teach you, and change your life for the better. Likewise, the professors at Wheaton are dedicated to educating the whole person. Yes, you will have to study at Wheaton. That's a fact. But you will also be given the tools necessary to use your hard-earned knowledge to make a difference in the world. The few students that express discontent generally are not at Wheaton by their own choice and are upset about the restrictions placed upon them.

The Wheaton College experience is completely unique. From a caring faculty to impressive academics, from studying and serving abroad to intense IM competition, great food, and crazy dorm life—this school offers it all. However, it must be mentioned that Wheaton is not for everybody. In fact, it is a school for a very specific group of people. Wheaton is a school for those who want to grow in their Christian faith, be challenged in every area of their lives, and impact the world in which they live. Indeed, in endorsing the Wheaton College motto, students truly to come to Wheaton “for Christ and His Kingdom.”

International Relations Major- the Profs

The professors are very knowledgable about their subjects, all of them have actually been involved in the government and/or military. There are a variaty of teaching styles in the department so you can find the prof that you like the best and take a lot of their classes. The workload isn't too bad, it is a lot of reading though.

Student Center-The Place to Hang Out

The Beamer Center has an area for printing, a coffee shop, a fast food restaraunt, a game room and is a really good place to hang out or do homework. It is a new facility and is well maintained.

Guys Are Cute but Dating Scene Sucks

Considering how small Wheaton is, there's a lot of attractive guys on campus. While guys can be good friends, there's definitely the tendency for awkward interactions when it comes to romantic possibilites. Wheaton guys aren't good with stepping up and asking girls out, probably partially because of the ridiculous pressure to get a "ring by spring" and because people take dating pretty seriously.
