The online courses that WMCC provide are very good. However you have to be on top of it or you will fall behind and it's hard to catch up after that.

it's alright for a community college

WMCC is a place where people go to get their degrees cheaper than going to a University and making friends is a second priority compared to work and learning.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
At WMCC the tuition and financial aid is the best for the level of education one receives.

Most of the student body is welcoming and friendly. There are a few groups of people who are snobby and judge you just like you were in high school again but with older people. Like i said most of them are great and are willing to help you with whatever it is you need help with weather it is finding a classroom or help with homework.

I am a business major and my classes are all what i expected. Some of them are hard to keep up with but all classes i am required to take are fitted to my major. i don't have to take ridiculous classes that have nothing to do with business and all the teachers are helpful its not easy to fall behind if you try. All the material is interesting to me. The workload is a bit intensive but if you pace yourself and focus it doesn't have to be overwhelming unless you make it that way.

Professors are very knowledgeable about their topic and some are crazy but they make college fun. They are always looking for new ways to make the class interesting no matter what class it is.

The school has a student resource center that is very helpful, you can go get help, tutoring, or anything else you may need at any time. My advisor is great, she is always there to help me out and answer any question I may have.

I'm a liberal arts major. I started off being a criminal justice major, but when i decided it wasn't for me, the faculty was so helpful with my transition into liberal arts. The best part of being a liberal arts major is that i can take a variety of classes, depending on my interests and future plans. The only downside to being a liberal arts student at my school is that it's not a very popular major to graduate with, this said, the advisers aren't completely comfortable with assisting me through the process.

The professors at my school are fantastic! They truly care about us as students, and as individuals. The professors understand that we all have other classes, as well as a life outside of school, and they do all they can to accommodate everyone.

Where I go to school, there are many people life me, who work full time, or have a family to take care of. Because of this, there isn't much communication, or interaction between the students. We all go there to go to class, do our work, and then go back to our lives.

i like my school (wmcc), its a quite school but effective, it doesn't have the big "ego" as a lot of schools out there but the staff are friendly, willing to help you out as long as you take the first step.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Financial aid faculty are not as nice as they could be. And the tuition is reasonable...

Nursing Class Is Fun – I am currently in the nursing program at my college and it has been interesting. There is a lot of material to cover so it feels like I am rushed but the instructors are fairly reasonable. The prices of books are crazy and the fees associated with my class are crazy...

Slightly Economically Depressed – Most of the students are non-traditional. The college is located in a moderately poor part of the state and the student body reflects that.

Most of the students are from the north country of New Hampshire which makes them a kind all of their own. It takes a little getting used to if you are from a more wealthy population.

Wonderful Teachers – I have had nothing but good experiences so far at WMCC. Everyone is very helpful and nice. My college English from UNH transferred.

Transfereing your credits is fairly simple. Transfereing to new colleges is simple as well.

Good Location – The school is in a good location just outside of town. It is set up by the river and it is pretty. They are upgrading yearly on the inside to make it look just as good indoors as it does outdoors.
College Senior 2012-04-26T02:35:43Z
Great Mix – There is a wide variety of students at my school. There are alot of students with children, not all married. A large majority work part or full-time. Although there are some students there because they live at home and have to be there.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
