Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Academics at Willamette are challenging but exciting. Students will take small classes taught only by exceptional professors. Professors at Willamette demand high-quality work from their students and in return are accessible, understanding, and driven to help students succeed. Because of small class sizes, professors can provide students with one-on-one help, and all science labs are taught by professors, not graduate students.

One of the best elements of a Willamette education is the educational opportunities provided outside of the classroom. Starting as early as freshman year, students can compete for more than 75 undergraduate research grants offered through Willamette in all subject areas. Internships are also very common at Willamette. Willamette is able to offer students an exceptional education complemented by exceptional opportunities for academic growth outside of the classroom.

The Easy of a Anthropology and Classics Double Major

The professors are all really helpful and the classes are all structured in such a way that they complement each toher without over lapping question. What is learned in one are can be easily applie to the other. The workload is fair depending on the level of the class. Willamette offers a lot of opportunities to learn about he subject outside of the classroom!
