I hate the rain, but that's a personal thing. As far as how it affects classes, nothing usually gets cancelled. I've only had classes cancelled when it snowed really hard and the teacher didn't live near campus.

Being in the Midwest, the weather is always interesting. There are hot summers and cold winters. Jewell is literally nicknamed "the hill," so it's always a little windy up there, which makes it colder. However, being from Kansas City, I'm already used to it.

We are on top of a hill so it is very windy. Plus, we are in the Midwest so the weather can be rather bipolar. During the fall and summer, it's nice, but in the winter time it gets freezing cold and class is never cancelled due to bad roads or slippery sidewalks.

As the saying goes, "If you don't like the weather in Missouri, wait five minutes!" When things are hot, they're HOT, and same goes with cold. As far as snow goes, it's hit and miss--some years we may get nothing, other years we might get what has come to be known as a "Snowpocalypse".

It snows sometimes but the professors don't like to cancel classes. I believe this is a good thing since I pay all the money I do to go to such a great school. I am okay with walking half a mile in the snow. Its not a big deal for me.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
