What about boston? i know it's a trip, but are there opportunities to go down there on the weekends?

Boston is about 3 hours away. The school does have semi-regular shuttles to Boston and NYC for weekend trips if you don't have access to a car. Zip cars are also available for rental on campus, and bolt bus/greyhound passes through Williamstown as well.

While they may not make the best veggie pizza on earth, the campus dining facilities do an adequate job of allowing vegetarians and other individuals with diverse eating habits to stay satisfied. And, most of the time, the food actually tastes good and is fresh.

Williams' on-campus dining has also been very successful in creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying the food, and they might surprise you with new recipes and touches.
